Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Doylestown Health. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting the nursing team in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and efficient direct patient care with consideration for age-specific accommodations.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to achieve excellence in patient care.
  • Promote patient safety through adherence to protocols, policies, procedures, evidence-based guidelines, and Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals.
  • Actively participate in and support departmental and organizational quality initiatives and goals.
  • Maintain clinical competency according to unit-specific standards.
Requirements
  • High school or GED completion.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant documentation for Certified PCT position. Must maintain current Pennsylvania license.
  • Hospital experience preferred.
  • Phlebotomy and ECG experience preferred.
  • Certified in B.L.S. for healthcare providers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
