We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our team in Northern California. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified surgeon to lead and grow a well-supported cardiac surgery program.

The position will be based at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, the region's only Level II Trauma Center, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time position that will oversee the development of the cardiac surgery service line at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build a thoracic aortic and surgery program in partnership with other Northern California Providence hospitals.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience is required, with expertise in complex revascularization, mitral valve repair, aortic surgery, thoracic surgery, minimally invasive, and robotic techniques.
  • Experience in vascular surgery is a plus.
  • The ideal candidate must be a great collaborator and team builder, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Benefits:
  • This role offers a competitive salary range of $462,289 to $908,733 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • The successful candidate will also be eligible for a shareholder track opportunity, starting in year 3, with additional perks and annual bonuses worth over $1M over the course of a full career.
  • A generous sign-on bonus and relocation assistance package will also be provided to support the transition to this new role.
  • In addition, providers may be eligible for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.
