Neurodiagnostic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a Clinical Neuro Tech, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalograms (EEG) and electronystagmographies (ENG), evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction velocities (NCV), and brain mapping neurometrics on outpatients and inpatients.
Responsibilities- Patient Care: Performs routine, sleep, and complex EEG in accordance with ABRET standards. Assists physician with EMG and performs NCV procedures. Performs studies as appropriate for clinical and research requirements.
- General Maintenance: Maintains neuro-diagnostic equipment, keeps labs clean and orderly, and orders supplies.
- Documentation: Generates billing, logging all tests on a daily basis as observed by supervisor. Performs secretarial tasks as needed to assist EEG secretary.
- AAS degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare/patient setting.
- EEG Certification preferred.
- Eligible for certification by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologist.
