We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team at Johnny's Selected Seeds. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for procuring high-quality products for our JSS Tools & Supplies and Seeds lines.

• Negotiate and execute purchases with vendors, utilizing procurement best practices to define scope, conduct vendor analysis, and initiate bid processes.
• Recommend vendor selections and place purchase orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock levels to meet established service levels.
• Develop and maintain relationships with international and domestic suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and superior customer service.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a positive impact on overall business operations.
• Provide administrative support and backup for Buyers in all procurement activities.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field).
• 0-3 years of purchasing experience, with a strong understanding of procurement best practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications, with experience in ERP systems a plus.
