Job Description:

HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in the Women's Health Clinic. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing ultrasound procedures with precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care in accordance with hospital mission, goals, and policies.
  • Adhere to Service Excellence Standards and provide respectful, professional leadership qualities during all interactions with patients and employees.
  • Verify equipment and supplies necessary for patient procedures and ensure proper functioning.
  • Verify patient information, exam, and diagnosis before performing procedures.
  • Provide answers and follow up on patient concerns or questions regarding exams or procedures.
  • Clean and stock rooms after every exam and maintain all necessary certifications (RDMS, CPR, etc.).
  • Maintain 12 category A CE credits per year and answer phone calls by the third ring as needed.
  • Provide help to other areas of the department as needed and take call to perform all Technologists duties of assigned position.
  • Responsible for proper patient transport, lifting, and moving techniques.
  • Support Radiologists as needed and provide proper preps and protocols per exam to ensure the proper test for the proper diagnosis.
  • Recognize pertinent anatomy and pathology and adjust imaging parameters as needed to provide the Radiologist with the most complete exam possible.
  • Perform all post-processing duties for all procedures and complete all paperwork necessary for each exam and procedure.
  • Assist Physicians with all invasive procedures and provide proper documentation, identification, and marking of all images.
  • Maintain accurate exam and procedure records and verify all exams performed being moved to taken in Meditech and all images being accessible on the PACs system.
  • Communicate results of US exams to referring physicians as directed by Radiologists and maintain exam work list and check to ensure all exams are in taken status.
  • Check and re-order department supplies as needed and perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience and training in general, vascular, and OB or hospital setting.
  • ARDMS Registered and hospital certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Shifts:

Monday - Thursday 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Friday: 8:00AM - 3:00PM.

Must be currently active.
