UCLA is seeking a skilled Per Diem Surgical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for assisting in the decontamination and reprocessing of endoscopes and equipment, as well as preparing and setting up procedure rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the decontamination and reprocessing of endoscopes and equipment
  • Prepare and set up procedure rooms, including calibration and testing of equipment
  • Collect and process specimens in the GI Lab
  • Perform inventory control and maintain accurate records
  • Test and document endoscope processing and repair
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience as a Surgical Technician or GI Technician
  • Completion of an accredited surgical technician program or certification as a GI Technician
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of GI Lab policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work with intricate equipment

Salary Range: 45.17
