Job SummaryAs a Direct Support Professional, you will provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them learn, maintain, and/or improve daily living skills. You will work closely with the residential facility's program goals and objectives, ensuring a safe, supportive, and positive environment for individuals.
Responsibilities- Provide daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Implement activities and programs to promote independence and community participation
- Monitor medication intake and maintain accurate progress notes
- Collaborate with the residential facility's team to achieve program goals and objectives
- Verifiable direct care experience with MH/IDD patients
- Healthcare documents: Physical and TB/PPD screening (within one year)
- Background Check: PA State Criminal Background
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification
- Valid Driver's License and personal reliable transportation
- Establish a relationship with a reputable referral agency for behavioral health
- Flexible schedule: choose opportunities that best fit your schedule
- Ability to grow professionally
- Access to a broad array of client opportunities
