MaineHealth Cardiology Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join our team at MaineHealth Cardiology in the greater Portland, Maine area. As a member of our comprehensive cardiovascular service line, you will have the opportunity to work with a group of experienced and compassionate Cardiologists providing a wide range of services, including general, invasive, interventional, and electrophysiological services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development and implementation of our clinical interventional research program
  • Contribute to leadership roles within the Cardiovascular Service Line
  • Teach and mentor Cardiology Fellows and medical students from the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine Medical School Program
  • Participate in academic appointments at Tufts University School of Medicine
  • Collaborate with a growing practice of over 70 cardiologists with locations in Augusta, Lewiston, Rockport, Scarborough, and Waterville
Requirements:
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in general and interventional cardiology
  • Early to mid-career physician with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience and a clinical focus on coronary interventions
  • Experience with advanced mechanical support systems, modern CTO techniques, cardiac biopsies, and an interest in outcomes research and epidemiology would be desirable
