We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Operations Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining building facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, and supporting the Environmental Health & Safety team. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of equipment used in manufacturing. You will work closely with other technicians to complete tasks and contribute to the overall success of our production activities.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains building facilities using CMMS to facilitate TPM.
- Collaborates with other technicians to complete tasks and supports the EH&S team.
- Leads installation, relocation, and troubleshooting of production equipment, machine tools, and facility systems.
- Performs maintenance tasks involving electrical wiring, pneumatics, PLCs, servo motors, inventory management, and spare parts.
- Installs new electrical circuits, ensuring compliance with safety protocols such as LOTO, Hot Work, Arc Flash, and PPE.
- Conducts scheduled PMs and unscheduled repairs, including troubleshooting electronic circuits and PLCs.
- Performs mechanical and parameter adjustments, dismantles machines for repairs or PMs, and coordinates with technical support for CNC machines and production equipment.
- Assists in developing and reviewing new PMs, procedures, and policies.
- Executes W/O and coordinates with outside vendors for equipment maintenance.
- Maintains functionality of emergency lighting, fire pump systems, alarms, extinguishers, and eyewash stations.
- Complies with all safety and work rules and regulations.
- Uses appropriate PPE during maintenance tasks.
- Maintains departmental housekeeping standards and cleans/restocks area at end of shift.
- Engages in continuous improvement projects and 5S-related performance teams.
