Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This role involves providing nursing services to residents, adhering to Federal and State regulations, and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.


Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Ensure accurate medication administration for residents in compliance with Federal and State regulations, and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
  • Admissions and Assessments: Assist in the admissions process, including assessment and documentation for new residents.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement acute and long-term care plans or service plans for residents.
  • Infection Control: Monitor and track clinical systems, including wound and infection control under the direction of the Director.
  • Consultation and Communication: Provide general consultation on health-related concerns within the community, notify physicians and family members of changes in resident health, and maintain proper documentation.
  • Emergency Response: Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain close communication with departments and staff.
  • Education and Training: Conduct educational meetings for residents and staff, and maintain confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.

Requirements
  • Licensure: Possess a current Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse's License in the state where you practice.
  • CPR Certification: Maintain up-to-date CPR certification.
  • Experience: Have experience working in senior care or a related field.
  • Teamwork and Multitasking: Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team, handle multiple tasks safely and effectively, possess proficient verbal and written communication skills, and be dedicated, compassionate, and energetic.
