Avera is actively seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) dedicated to providing exceptional nursing care in patient-centered environments.
Sign-On Bonus: $7,500
Position Highlights:

- Role Purpose: Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) are essential in delivering long-term care services, fostering a nurturing and joyful atmosphere for residents.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular rounds and communicate effectively with team members during shifts.
- Establish a working relationship with physicians and maintain ongoing communication.
- Deliver professional nursing care to residents, adapting to patient needs and staffing requirements.
- Administer routine medications, including IV medications, and make informed decisions regarding PRN medications.
- Notify physicians and family members of any changes in residents' conditions.
Licensure/Certification/Registration and Experience:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program with current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state.
- Engage in educational opportunities to maintain and enhance professional clinical skills.
- Certification must comply with American Heart Association standards.
Work Schedule:
- Shifts: Day/Night; 72 hours bi-weekly
- 6:00 am - 6:30 pm, 6:00 pm - 6:30 am
- Every third weekend
- Occasional holidays
- No on-call requirements
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is competitive, with actual rates determined by experience.
- $36.50 per hour
