The Front Office Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service to patients and staff at our integrated healthcare facility. This position is essential for managing patient interactions and ensuring smooth operations within the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, addressing inquiries in person, over the phone, and through digital communication channels.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments across various services offered by Axis Health System.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all services provided by the organization to effectively assist patients and staff.
- Handle patient health information with confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Support the team in maintaining a welcoming and efficient front office environment.
Physical Requirements:
The role may require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and the ability to sit for extended periods while managing a multi-line phone system. The environment may involve exposure to stressful situations, and reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow established guidelines.

Additional Requirements:
