Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child and Youth Program Assistant to join our team at Pacific Air Forces. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care and supervision to children and youth in our programs, as well as assisting in the planning and implementation of activities and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care and supervision to children and youth in our programs
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of activities and events
  • Develop and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and youth
  • Communicate effectively with children, youth, and staff
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 18 months of experience working in a childcare or youth program required for Target Level
  • Completion of DoD approved competency-training courses required for Target Level
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
