Job Summary:

The 22nd DAA/Del Mar Fairgrounds seeks a skilled Plumber I to join their facilities maintenance team. This role is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of the venue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and equipment, adhering to relevant building codes and regulations.
• Coordinate plumbing work for various events, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
• Prepare and plan job layouts and projects, optimizing resources and efficiency.
• Perform other related responsibilities as required by the Facilities Manager/Maintenance and Operations Supervisor II.

Working Conditions:

The Plumber I will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring physical stamina, agility, and mobility. The role involves standing for long periods, frequent walking, and working in various weather conditions. The ability to lift average-weight tools and equipment up to 75 pounds is essential, as well as effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Considerable physical strength, agility, and mobility to perform job duties.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level required for successful job performance.
• Willingness to conform to the District's uniform requirements and work in a team environment.
