Job Title: Utility Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Utility Worker to join our team at SSP America. As a Utility Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our restaurants located inside the Indianapolis International Airport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Remove refuse to designated areas and transport service-ware to the kitchen for cleaning.
  • Scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans and wash them by hand or load dishwasher.
  • Clean equipment using specific chemicals to meet sanitary standards.
  • Assist guests with specific requests and communicate special needs to server/supervisor.
  • Load/unload supply trucks and stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of food items.
Requirements:
  • At least 18 years old.
  • 6 months' experience working in retail or food service environment.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Food handlers permit, as required by law.
