Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services RepresentativeGlobal Technical Talent is seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative to join our team and provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide phlebotomy services, including drawing quality blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for lab testing, and creating a positive and reassuring atmosphere.
- Ensure accuracy by verifying patient demographic information and initials to ensure accurate labeling of blood specimens.
- Maintain operational excellence by ensuring that daily activities are completed accurately and on time while demonstrating leadership behaviors and a commitment to process excellence.
- Demonstrate organizational commitment by promoting a positive image of our organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
- Adhere to policies and procedures by following company dress code, employee health and safety guidelines, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.
- Make informed decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
- Travel and work flexible hours, being available to work at multiple locations, including Patient Service Centers and In-Office Phlebotomy locations, with minimal notice.
- Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer focus by communicating openly and transparently, embracing change, and having knowledge of our business.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training as a medical assistant or paramedic is preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in keyboard/data entry.
- Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Flexibility and availability to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
