Job Summary

The Grease Trap Driver is responsible for collecting waste cooking oil from grease traps at various locations, utilizing a pumper truck. This role requires a high level of customer service and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empty customers' wastewater containers using a company vehicle, pumping contents into a tanker.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the trap area, cleaning any spilled grease as necessary.
  • Provide customers with a receipt of service.
  • Be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the company vehicle, including pre- and post-trip inspections.
  • Complete a daily vehicle condition report, operating under all Company safety standards.
  • Maintain excellent customer service relations, providing prompt and courteous service.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Class B CDL license and tanker endorsement.
  • Must be registered on the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Class A CDL license with tanker endorsement is preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience operating a commercial vehicle with a vacuum system is preferred.
  • Good driving record.
  • Ability to work well with internal staff and external customers.
Physical Demands
  • Constantly required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
  • Occasionally push, pull, up to 100 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment

Job functions will be carried out in a commercial vehicle that services between 10-15 customers per day and in a plant environment.
