Role Overview:

In the capacity of a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for operating various Dyno Nobel vehicles and specialized equipment to prepare and deliver explosive products to clients in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. This role transcends typical driving duties, offering an engaging work atmosphere where you can work outdoors and collaborate with a team of professionals. Many of our leaders have advanced their careers from this position.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating straight bed vehicles on public roads to transport explosive products to designated sites safely and promptly
  • Managing bulk/blend trucks to prepare and deliver quality ANFO products
  • Loading and unloading trucks while maintaining inventory and storage facilities
  • Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring safe working conditions while operating equipment and on-site
  • Documenting and maintaining records related to the handling and transportation of explosive materials, ensuring compliance and accurate billing
  • Familiarity with and adherence to DOT, OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and BATFE regulations
  • Performing basic mathematical calculations accurately
  • Ensuring all team members follow safety and regulatory procedures to guarantee a secure working environment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not mandatory
  • CDL Class A or B is essential.
  • Current Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required (or the ability to obtain them)
  • Previous experience in the explosives sector is advantageous, though not necessary
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check to handle explosives
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English, with effective communication skills
  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years
  • A positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a collaborative spirit
