Auberge Resorts is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our resort's technical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Operations: Troubleshoot and repair electrically run motors & devices, HVAC systems, carpentry projects, and plumbing projects.
  • Minor Automotive Repairs: Perform minor automotive repairs and painting.
  • Guest Requests: Respond to all Guest Requests quickly and attentively.
  • Emergency Situations: Respond to all emergency or life-threatening situations.
  • Safety Procedures: Follow established safety procedures.
  • Logbook Maintenance: Log and communicate all essential information in the Engineering logbook.
  • Object Relocation: Move various objects for relocation and/or access.
  • System Knowledge: Maintain complete knowledge of resort fire system, well water system, septic system, and irrigation system.
  • Sustainability: Participate in and support hotel and company efforts towards sustainability and environmental initiatives as part of the Planet Auberge program.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school education.
  • Experience: Two years working experience in high rise buildings, spa, or restaurant maintenance.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of equipment found in high rise buildings.
  • Skills: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English, strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer service oriented, ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards.
