As we expand, we seek to attract top-tier talent to fulfill our operational requirements. This role will report directly to the Controller of the Field Machining division.Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate setup of new projects within the accounting system.
  • Regularly assess job progress and expenses with project managers to confirm cost accuracy and identify discrepancies from client quotes and purchase orders.
  • Proactively communicate job-related issues with project managers and management as necessary.
  • Generate ad-hoc job reports as requested by project managers.
  • Keep the accounting team informed about invoicing tasks related to projects, including progress billing.
  • Assist colleagues in preparing customer invoices as needed.
  • Initiate and monitor capital purchase projects until completion.
  • Finalize customer projects upon the completion of all related activities and archive final job revenues and costs in the project management system.
  • Contribute to month-end closing processes, including revenue recognition, job margin reporting, and work-in-process reconciliation.
