Job Summary

The Licensed Optician plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every customer leaves the store satisfied with their eyewear. This position requires a high level of optical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and ensure they receive a personalized experience
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
- Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing guidance and support to associates
- Take and record measurements, adjust or fit eyewear correctly, and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer requirements
- Attract new customers and explore their needs and priorities
- Utilize store tools and adhere to Brand Store Commitments

Requirements

- High School graduate or equivalent
- State Licensure
- Optical dispensing experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and team building
- Knowledge of current store merchandise
- Basic math skills
- Awareness of current fashion trends
- Selling skills, including the ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet
- Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators
