LVI Associates is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineering Specialist with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably holding a Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.
This position encompasses the planning, design, and analytical evaluation of water and wastewater engineering initiatives, including but not limited to water distribution networks, sewage systems, pumping facilities, and treatment plants.
The ideal candidate is proactive, demonstrates excellent written communication skills, and thrives in collaborative team settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hydraulic assessments and design layouts for various structures.
Collaborate in the creation of correspondence, technical reports, and bid documents for water distribution systems, wastewater management systems, treatment facilities, potable water wells, storage reservoirs, and pumping stations.
Provide engineering assistance to the inspection team.Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
Identify potential challenges proactively, conduct thorough analyses, and formulate effective solutions.
Engage with a team to prepare regulatory permit applications.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
P.E. License is preferred.
Ability to articulate thoughts clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrates commitment and pride in all work tasks.
Willingness to seek guidance to expedite project timelines.
Able to manage both team-oriented and individual tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication, management, and writing capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
