About the Role

As an Asset Reconciliation Expert at Equity Trust, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our asset reconciliation processes. This position is based out of our Westlake, OH location and is eligible for a hybrid schedule after the probationary period.

Job Overview

The Asset Reconciliation Expert is responsible for researching and resolving transactional discrepancies identified in the daily reconciliation of transactions. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that metal movement and asset pricing are accurately reflected and up-to-date through internal systems and external depository portals.

Responsibilities

  • Transaction Review and Research
    • Conduct thorough reviews of daily internal reconciliation reports, suspense account activity, incoming cash liquidations, and identified outages.
  • Process Optimization and Compliance
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of required transactions to clear outages within documented service level agreements.
    • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
    • Effectively communicate with internal departments, clients, and external third parties regarding resolution steps and progress.
    • Collaborate with other Operation and Investment departments to identify root causes, research, and escalate exceptions.
  • Problem-Solving and Quality Assurance
    • Analyze data and develop comprehensive solutions to mitigate future occurrences.
    • Maintain a high level of quality assurance by monitoring outages and identifying trends.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in banking and/or financial services operations preferred.
  • Skills and Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
    • Demonstrated success in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and effective communication.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Location and Work Environment

This role is based in our Westlake, OH office and requires occasional travel to meet with clients and partners. Our office is a dynamic and collaborative environment that values innovation, teamwork, and excellence.
