Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Audi Technician to join our team at Umansky Auto Group. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work with efficiency and accuracy to drive customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order
  • Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication
  • Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the customer
  • Conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of customer vehicles
  • Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order
  • Maintain an inventory of normal Technician's tools not normally inventoried by the Service department as "special tools."
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
  • Other duties as requested by manager
  • Keep shop clean and organized
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience as an automotive technician
  • Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs)
  • Attention to detail
  • Organization and follow-up skills
  • Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
  • Dealership Automotive experience a plus
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation based on experience. We offer full health and medical benefits, including life, dental, 401k, paid company holidays and paid vacation.

The Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $16.00 and $31.00. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
