We are seeking a highly skilled Permit Manager to join our team at American Land & Leisure. As a key member of our corporate office in Pleasant Grove, Utah, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our operations division and ensuring the success of our company.
- Liaise with the US Forest Service or utility company Permit Administrator to establish effective communication channels and develop strong working relationships.
- Ensure operations manuals are up-to-date and complete, including procedures for opening and closing facilities, business protocols, water testing, emergency situations, vehicle maintenance, and general operations.
- Propose, develop, manage, and complete construction and renovation projects, applying scoping for large projects and managing project timelines through deadlines and status updates.
- Identify risks and propose solutions to avoid injury or mitigate damage and loss, operating service areas within established labor and operational budgets.
- Complete all reporting requirements by due dates and partner with Human Resources to fill staff vacancies.
- Build effective field management teams and invest in their success by ensuring training, holding site visits, developing interpersonal relationships, growing a sense of ownership, increasing site knowledge, and providing opportunities for growth.
- Research and write bids for potential new business permits.
