JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of facilities and surrounding areas to achieve high levels of customer and client satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct comprehensive cleaning tasks including vacuuming (utilizing a 25lb. vacuum on a daily basis).
  • Perform wet mopping and sweeping duties.
  • Dust surfaces and empty trash receptacles (capable of lifting waste and debris weighing a minimum of 55lbs).
  • Sanitize and clean drinking fountains.
  • Thoroughly clean restrooms, including all fixtures (e.g., urinals, toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and counters).
  • Ensure restrooms are maintained in a clean and disinfected state.
  • Wash windows and sills (including door glass).
  • Restock dispensers and supplies in restrooms.
  • Regularly walk up and down stairs, with frequent bending and standing as required during shifts.

SUPERVISION: Works under the guidance of a Supervisor. This position does not entail formal supervisory responsibilities or authority. Must complete tasks independently without constant oversight.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The primary responsibilities of this role are carried out in both indoor and outdoor settings. The position requires standing and walking for extended periods while cleaning and sanitizing work areas. Duties involve physical activities such as lifting, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 55 pounds. The role may involve exposure to various environmental factors, including extreme temperatures, cleaning chemicals, dust, and noise, necessitating adherence to basic safety protocols.

ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY: This position is subject to DLP Services LLC's Drug-Free Workplace Policy, which includes post-accident testing, random testing, and/or reasonable suspicion testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must successfully pass a federal background check.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficient in following safety procedures.
  • Effective grooming skills.
  • Capable of operating electronic devices for clocking in and out.
  • Ability to operate vacuums and other cleaning equipment safely.
  • Competent in lifting, pushing, and manipulating heavy objects up to 55 pounds.
  • Familiarity with downloading and using applications for clocking procedures.
Other: Valid Texas Driver's License Class C.
