Position Overview: The Guest Services Representative at Intellis is a key player in ensuring a seamless guest experience by managing the registration process and effectively communicating hotel amenities and promotions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service through warm greetings, attentive body language, and focused interaction.
  • Facilitate hotel check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring that payments are processed accurately and that guest requests are met.
  • Manage reservations and cancellations with precision.
  • Efficiently handle all guest transactions using the Front Desk management system.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities and any ongoing special events.
  • Promote and sell hotel programs, special rates, and upgrades when suitable.
  • Be well-versed in emergency protocols and hotel policies.
  • Accurately manage the house bank and process all forms of payment in accordance with hotel guidelines.
  • Adhere to established procedures for postings, charges, and refunds.
  • Answer phone calls professionally and assist guests with inquiries and directions.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience of one year in a hotel front desk role, though not mandatory.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including problem-solving and effective communication.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
