Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician position at Cano Health is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in preparing medications for patient consumption under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medications for patient consumption in accordance with standard departmental procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and effective medication preparation and dispensing.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail, mail order, or hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
  • Proficiency in QS1 and/or NRX Pharmacy Software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Inventory control knowledge and experience interacting with pharmacy patients.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
