Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Expeditor to join our team at IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. As a Material Expeditor, you will be responsible for expediting CPSR-compliant purchase orders, analyzing and organizing day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities, and developing logistics plans to enhance distribution of goods and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expedite CPSR-compliant purchase orders based on approved requisitions, requests for proposals, bids, and other similar documents.
  • Analyze and organize day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for a smaller program or portion of a larger program.
  • Develop logistics plans to enhance distribution of goods and supplies.
  • Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
  • Perform general tactical duties to support purchasing activities.
  • Communicate supplier performance and maintain sound professional relationships with suppliers.
  • Resolve issues associated with terms and conditions of service agreements.
  • Manage supplier issues, including cost, quality, delivery, and customer service.
  • Act as a liaison between procurement and customer to provide daily updates on requisition and procurement data.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and related technical training.
  • 2 years directly related experience (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience).
  • Experience with DoD, ITAR, EAR, FAR, and DFAR regulations preferred.
  • Experience with Haystacks, Bincs, Fedlog, MSC, and GSA preferred.
