Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, analyze assessment data, and create a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Administer medications safely and effectively, consistent with state practice and Bon Secours Mercy Health policies and procedures.
- Serve as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives in the department.
- Manage and meet the physical and emotional demands of emergency nursing care.
- Apply knowledge of contemporary emergency nursing practice and future innovations to provide evidence-based patient care.
- Current RN license in the state in which you are working or covered by compact.
- BLS Basic Life Support certification (preferred upon hire, must obtain from an approved source prior to direct patient care).
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (preferred).
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (preferred).
- NPR Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification (preferred).
- TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course certification (preferred).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
- 1 year of RN experience (required).
- Recent Emergency Department or Critical Care experience (preferred).
