Sentara Medical Group is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to enhance our Orthopedic - Hand Surgery division. We are looking for a dedicated APP who prioritizes high-quality healthcare, compassionate patient interactions, and a commitment to an exceptional patient journey.
This position is part of a cohesive Orthopedic team that includes specialists in total joint procedures, sports medicine, upper extremity, hand surgery, spine surgery, and a group of non-operative physicians, along with six Physician Assistants.
Key Features of the Position:
- Modern office facilities located on the hospital grounds
- Opportunity to manage new patients, follow-ups, and post-operative care
- Established referral network
- Focus on Hand Surgery
- Home call schedule; 1:6 (phone only)
- Weekly routine of 2-3 days in the operating room and 2-3 days in the clinic (8 AM - 5 PM)
- Access to digital x-ray and PACS at the practice; MRI services available on-site
- Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services
Compensation and Benefits Include:
