Aveanna Healthcare Seeks Dedicated Private Duty Nurses

We are currently seeking private duty nurses in various locations to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while working independently and collaboratively with our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide and document skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries.
  • Deliver quality patient care in compliance with physician orders, continuously observing and assessing patient condition and care needs.
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
  • Participate in and update the nursing care plan, taking appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieving expected outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 6 months experience as a practicing nurse; we offer an excellent New Grad Program for recent graduates.
  • Nursing License (must be active and in good standing with the board).
  • CPR Certification (must be current, Hands-on BLS).

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to travel, lift 50 pounds, and sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
  • Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, and climbing stairs are required.
  • Must have visual and hearing acuity, a strong sense of smell, and touch.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $$65,000 - $85,000, depending on location and experience. As a valued employee, you will also receive benefits, including weekly pay, PTO, and access to education and training programs.
