Swim Instructor

Are you passionate about teaching children water safety and swimming skills? Do you want to work in a fun and dynamic environment where you can make a difference in people's lives? Goldfish Swim School - Rogers is seeking a qualified Swim Instructor to join our team

• Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
• Evaluate students' progress and complete required paperwork.
• Interact with parents/guardians on students' activities and development.
• Act as a GSS ambassador to ensure parental satisfaction.
• Use problem-solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges.
• Inspect pool areas before and after each class for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage issues.
• Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment.
• Report accidents and incidents to management.
• Perform Deck Teacher duties as needed.
• Attend required/mandatory workshops and in-service training.

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or childcare provider is required.
• Two or more years as a swimming instructor is required.
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification is required.

While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.
