Job Title: Paramedic
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team at Radiology Regional Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing situations where patients are experiencing reactions due to contrast injections, monitoring patients until they are stable, and maintaining accurate records of any incidents requiring paramedic assessment and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receives and follows directives from radiologists, diagnostic imaging center manager, and staff technologists to perform the position function.
- Performs and verifies patient history, medications, and allergies to examination ordered.
- Establishes and maintains rapport with patients, obtains chief complaint, vital signs, and primary assessment.
Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited paramedic program.
- Current paramedic and State of Florida certification.
- Current ACLS and CPR certifications.
- 6+ months of experience in EMT/paramedic.
- Knowledge of all aspects of MRI safety policy procedures.
