Job Responsibilities

The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in the surgical healthcare team, providing assistance to the nursing staff by transporting patients, equipment, and materials to and from the operating room. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing patients for surgical procedures by performing skin shaves and preparations.
  • Providing personal care and comfort services to patients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Setting up and positioning equipment for surgical procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6 months of clinical experience in a related area (preferred).
  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Work Schedule

This position requires a regular work schedule of 9:00am-5:00pm, with occasional weekend and evening shifts as needed.
