Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java with PHP developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and PHP, with hands-on experience in developing applications and features using PHP as the primary backend technology.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of React and experience in designing, building, and maintaining applications using custom and/or PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symphony.

The successful candidate will have proven experience working on large-scale real-time web applications and systems, with a strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

They will also have experience designing scalable REST APIs and Reactive Microservices, as well as experience in caching systems and Graph QL.

The ideal candidate will have excellent understanding of architectural principles involved in SaaS and multi-tenant Cloud platforms, with strong analytical and quantitative modeling skills and a focus on data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable and efficient software applications using Java and PHP.

Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and design.

Requirements:

8+ years' experience developing applications and features using PHP as primary backend technology.

Strong knowledge of React and experience in designing, building, and maintaining applications using custom and/or PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symphony.

Proven experience working on large-scale real-time web applications and systems.

Strong SQL skills using relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, Sql Server, etc.).

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies and experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience designing scalable REST APIs and Reactive Microservices.

Experience in caching systems and Graph QL required.

Expert understanding of utilizing automated CI/CD pipelines and build systems supporting DevOps and IaaS.

Experience in Supporting Production Operations, L1/L2 Triaging for Critical fixes.

Have excellent understanding of architectural principles involved in SaaS and multi-tenant Cloud platforms.

Have extraordinary analytical and quantitative modeling skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.

Strong experience with translating business needs and complex problems into systems requirements with system design architectures that are robust, flexible and scalable, understanding of design patterns and its application is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Proven skills in performance tuning, monitoring and measuring and site reliability engineering.

Frontend Experience with libraries such as ReactJS.

Ability to operate in a multi language environment with experience in one or more of the following languages along with PHP: Java, Rust, Python, JavaScript/Typescript.

Ability to develop strong Unit Test cases using PHPUnit.
