The Veterans Health Administration is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team. As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will be responsible for performing clinical neuropsychological evaluations, including referrals and consultation requests for assessments, from various clinical service lines within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive and behavioral functioning in patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address identified cognitive and behavioral deficits
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of neuropsychology
- Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on neuropsychological assessment and treatment
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited graduate program
- Successful completion of a professional psychology internship training program
- Licensure to practice psychology in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia
- English language proficiency
- Experience working with veterans and their families
- Knowledge of neuropsychological assessment and treatment techniques
- Experience with research and quality improvement initiatives
