Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team at PruittHealth. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership and direction to the Dietary Services Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized dietary plans of care for residents, taking into account their nutritional needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate residents' plans of care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Conduct regular meal observations, record reviews, and resident interviews to ensure adherence to prescribed diet orders and nutrition interventions.
- Direct staff in improving the quality of foods served and the dining experience, promoting a positive and respectful environment for residents.
- Conduct quality assurance functions, including regular compliance rounds of the Dietary Department's food preparation and storage areas, to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Dietitian to ensure timely responses to requests for information and suggestions to improve quality of Dietary Services.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or related field.
- A minimum of two (2) years in a professional food service setting and clinical experience in a health care setting, including identification of dietary needs, planning, and implementation of dietary programs.
- Current, unrestricted, and active registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics relative to state of practice.
