Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse First Assist is a key member of our surgical team, responsible for perioperative nursing duties and functions as a scrub circulator or RN First Assist. This role requires a strong focus on patient care and safety, as well as effective communication and collaboration with the surgical team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the operating surgeon during operative procedures
  • Provide comprehensive nursing management of care to patients during the perioperative phase
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical processes
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and technologies
Requirements
  • 3 years of clinical experience in surgical services
  • Graduate nursing degree required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  • Registered Nurse and Certified Operating Room Registered Nurse certifications required
Work Schedule

This role requires a flexible schedule, with 4-10 hour shifts and variable hours to meet departmental staffing needs. Weekend and call requirements are as needed.
