Overview of Responsibilities

This is a temporary role without leave or retirement benefits. Employees averaging 30 or more hours weekly may qualify for health insurance under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).

Key Duties:
  • Conduct eligibility assessments for children referred to the NC Infant-Toddler Program.
  • Administer and interpret diagnostic evaluations to assess communication skills.
  • Develop and implement tailored therapeutic treatment plans for clients.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified candidates must demonstrate the following competencies:
  • Understanding of agency goals and treatment methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of speech and language pathology principles and practices.
  • Ability to engage with clients and their families to foster trust and cooperation.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be licensed by the Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
