About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Network Engineer to join our team in designing, implementing, and managing our telecommunications networks. As a key member of our network operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our network infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designing and Implementing Networks: Design, implement, and maintain data networks, including LANs, WANs, and other network infrastructure to meet the organization's communication needs.
  • Monitoring Network Performance: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network operation and minimal downtime.
  • Configuring Network Devices: Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Collaborating with Teams: Collaborate with network architects and other teams to plan and implement network upgrades and expansions.
  • Managing Network Documentation: Manage network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and policies.
  • Conducting Network Audits: Conduct regular network audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Providing Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to other Network staff and end users as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in network engineering and data operations, including hands-on experience with network protocols, technologies, and tools.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and network security.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

  • Compensation: Estimated yearly salary range $66,880-$121,400 based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity and alignment with market data.
