Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineer-in-Training - Traffic to join our team. The successful candidate will assist senior staff on a variety of engineering projects, including traffic and safety analysis, conceptual and final design plans, and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior staff on engineering projects, including traffic and safety analysis, design plans, and technical specifications
- Develop conceptual and final design plans, and technical specifications
- Conduct field data collection and assist with proposal and presentation preparation
- Work closely with other civil engineering disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Relevant internship or 1-4 years' experience in Traffic Engineering
- EIT preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD and Synchro preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office, HCS, and Vissim a plus
- Familiarity with MUTCD, HCM, HSM, and AASHTO a plus
- Experience with MassDOT standards and deliverables a plus
