HR Generalist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team at H Mart. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, and payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Hiring: Assist in coordinating recruitment efforts by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Employee Relations: Provide HR support to regional stores, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and other administrative assistance.
- Onboarding and Training: Assist with employee onboarding procedures to ensure a smooth and effective transition for new hires.
- HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records within the HR database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Payroll Processing: Support the payroll process by verifying timekeeping data.
- General Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR department, covering various tasks and functions as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
- Knowledge and Skills: Basic knowledge of COBRA, diversity/EEO, FMLA, and related state and federal regulations is preferred. Strong intellectual curiosity to stay informed and ability to build strong employee relations, attention to details, and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Work Environment: Work comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Korean preferred.
