Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at the Arbors at Stoneham, a family-owned and managed assisted living community. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.

Estimated Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year

1. Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and recipes.
2. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to food safety guidelines and regulations.
3. Supervise and assist with food preparation tasks as needed.
4. Collaborate with the Food Service Director to ensure seamless meal service operations.
5. Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes that cater to our residents' diverse tastes and dietary requirements.

1. Culinary arts degree or equivalent experience.
2. Proven track record of maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
4. Serve-Safe certification and ability to maintain it.
5. Allergy Awareness Training and Anti-Choking Certification.
