Wells Brothers Inc., an industrial contractor dedicated to "Walk in Truth" values, is seeking an experienced Concrete Laborer to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of integrity, be self-motivated and team-oriented, with excellent communication skills.

About the Role

This challenging position requires an individual who can maintain a low safety incident occurrence history, assist in building and positioning forms, pouring concrete, digging ditches, leveling earth, grading dirt and concrete efficiently, mixing concrete and mortar, cleaning construction sites, installing rebar and wire mesh, operating power tools, and loading/unloading trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to industry standards and company policies.
  • Assist in constructing and preparing forms for concrete pours.
  • Dig trenches and excavate sites to grade specifications.
  • Grade dirt and concrete to ensure accurate and efficient results.
  • Mix and apply concrete and mortar according to specifications.
  • Clean construction sites regularly to eliminate hazards.
  • Install and secure rebar and wire mesh as required.
  • Operate various power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks as needed.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in concrete labor or a related field.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of industrial trades, including plumbing, electrical, and welding.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
  • No fear of heights or confined spaces.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Adaptability to changing schedules and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
