About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Software Engineer to join our team at Hudson River Trading. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our low-latency trading systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with strategy developers and hardware engineers to build best-in-class trading systems
  • Design and implement new APIs, deploy and monitor live trading systems, and build tools and testing infrastructure
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize new trading strategies and optimize low-level code
  • Develop and maintain high-performance computing systems using C++ and Verilog
Requirements
  • Excellent design, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong expertise in C++ and UNIX operating systems (Linux)
  • Knowledge of system/processor performance and network communication
  • Previous experience with Verilog and FPGAs preferred
