The Division of Rheumatology at Children's Mercy Kansas City/ the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist to expand our academic and clinical profile. Clinical responsibilities will include a focus on outpatient Amplified Pain Syndrome services. Our multidisciplinary Rehabilitation for Amplified Pain Syndromes (RAPS) Program provides commitment from psychology, physical and occupational therapy, and social work. We seek candidates who want to spend more time with patients, communicate well, and embrace patient and family centered care philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide training to the candidate in amplified pain syndromes
  • Work in a collaborative and stimulating scholarly environment
  • Contribute to academic endeavors including trainee education, quality improvement, and/or clinical and translational research
