Job Summary:

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our well-established community-based residency program. As a core faculty member, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Teach Residents: Provide guidance and mentorship to residents as they develop their clinical skills and knowledge in the ambulatory and inpatient environments.
  • Didactic Presentations and Training: Deliver engaging and informative presentations, case discussions, and procedural training to residents and medical students.
  • Faculty Advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor to residents, helping them set and achieve career and educational goals.
  • Quality Improvement and Curriculum Development: Participate in quality improvement teams, work groups, and committees to drive excellence in patient care and education.
  • Patient Care: See a diverse panel of patients, including geriatric patients, and manage a patient load of approximately 16 patients across 3-4 clinics weekly.
