Job Summary

The Cambridge HS is seeking a skilled and compassionate Restorative Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop resident care plans to meet their unique needs
  • Provide routine daily nursing care, including vital sign checks, wound dressing, and medication administration
  • Assist with admissions, make rounds with physicians, and start IVs as needed
  • Listen to residents and their families, addressing their questions and concerns
  • Perform accurate and detailed charting of resident progress notes
  • Provide assistance to LVNs and CNAs as needed
  • Ensure equipment is in good operating order and monitor residents at risk for falls
  • Collect lab samples and abide by all facility policies and procedures
  • Report any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, or other hazardous materials to a supervisor immediately
Requirements
  • Nursing degree from an accredited school or college
  • Valid RN license in good standing
  • Valid CPR and BLS card
  • Minimum of 1 year of skilled nursing experience preferred
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
  • Ability to use a computer or tablet to enter resident data
Working Conditions

This role may involve frequent interruptions, working with residents, family, and government agencies, and being requested to work beyond scheduled working hours at times. You may be exposed to odors, dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoking, or air contaminants, as well as infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc.
