Position Overview:

The Junior Assembly Technician will receive direct supervision while engaging in repetitive assembly tasks and preparatory work for electrical and mechanical assembly, as well as machine shop operations. With dedication and motivation, there is potential for the individual to evolve into more complex responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sandblasting operations
  • Preparation and cutting of wires
  • Deburring and cleaning of machinery
  • Welding of battery packs
  • General maintenance and cleanup duties
Qualifications:
  • Ability to handle various items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident
  • Preferred experience with a range of tools, including manual and electric tools, templates/fixtures, hand carts, measuring and testing equipment, and necessary safety gear.
Success Factors:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • High attention to detail
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
Salary range: $18-$21/hour, with various factors influencing the final offer, including the role's responsibilities and essential skills.
